Another day, another reunion
Home Improvement stars Richard Karn and Tim Allen have reunited and giving us major nostalgia feelings.
Richard Karn, who played lovable Al Borland on Home Improvement, took to Twitter to post a photo of the pair on familiar-looking set.
No, it’s not a reunion special for Home Improvement. The two are actually back together for a new competition show for the History Channel.
The show, to be called Assembly Required, will follow contestants as they attempt to rebuild, or improve on household items.
Both Karn and Allen are set to be executive producers and will host the series as well.
Fans of Home Improvement, which aired from 1991-99, will remember Tim Allen as Tim ‘The Toolman’ Taylor. Tim hosted a home improvement show called Tool Time on the long-running series.
A lot of meta stuff going on here …
Frustratingly, there’s currently no place to stream Home Improvement without paying, but we’re hoping that changes sometime soon. In fact, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has made a huge comeback after being released on HBO Max, with a reunion set to debut soon.
While we’re not sure this new show will be a hit, we’re still excited to see the duo back on screen together!
