Joe Rogan Takes Aim At Video Games, Ninja Enters the Chat
Ninja is sticking up for fellow video gamers once again — this time against recent comments made by Joe Rogan on his podcast.
On a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience featuring Joe De Sena, the comedian went on a rant about video games. Rogan basically explains that video games don’t add anything of real value to people’s lives.
He even went as far as to say, “video games are a real problem.”
Well, that didn’t sit right with video gamer and streaming superstar, Ninja. The gamer took to Twitter to respond to Rogan’s comments and offer some insight. He also expressed interest in being a guest on the podcast!
In the two-minute video, Ninja explains there are plenty avenues to go down when it comes to gaming. His message is that times have definitely changed and gamers can make a great living off their hobby.
In a follow up tweet, he points out that Rogan is a gamer himself, but may not understand the deeper aspects in the community.
Needless to say, Rogan’s comments didn’t go over well with the gaming community. Many voiced their opinions about the comments saying if gaming makes you happy, it’s already worth investing time in.
Ninja has always been a passionate advocate for video gamers. Earlier this year he went on a heated rant about those who say video games are ‘just a game,’ comparing himself to Lebron James and Tom Brady.
Joe Rogan has also been in the news lately after saying he’s leaving California to pursue more ‘freedom’. The move comes after signing a deal with Spotify to be the new home for the Joe Rogan Experience.
Both Ninja and Rogan are passionate personalities with dedicated followers. Who do you agree with more?
