Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut Trailer Brings Darkness Back To DC
Warner Bros. isn’t wasting any time when it comes to the ‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut. Just weeks after officially confirming the HBO Max project, a haunting teaser trailer has been released.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, here’s what happened …
Director Zack Snyder was hard at work on 2017’s Justice League movie when he had to step away from the project due to a family tragedy. Avengers director Joss Whedon stepped in to finish production but not before making HUGE changes to the film.
Fans around the world hated the movie and bashed WB’s revised direction for the DC movies. Although Whedon was just following orders, his input completely changed the tone of the film and Snyder’s intended storyline was destroyed.
The Snyder Cut will bring the film back up to Snyder’s original standards and include both new and unreleased footage.
This unseen footage, as seen in the new teaser trailer, includes our first haunting look at Darkseid — DC’s big bad villain. The short trailer shows Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, looking upon an ancient tablet with what looks like Darkseid’s face on it.
The trailer is accompanied by Lex Luthor‘s eerie speech foreshadowing Darkseid’s arrival on Earth.
