Because True Crime Podcasts Are As Intriguing As They Are Shocking!
We’re back at it again with another list of our favorite podcasts. This time we’re taking a look at the best true crime podcasts available, because they’re all the craze right now. There are too many to go through so we’ve narrowed it down to our 3 favorite and starting with the best for FIRST…

To Live and Die in LA
To Live and Die in LA is based on a baffling case of Adea Shabani, an aspiring actress who mysteriously vanished in Hollywood. What drew me to this podcast was its local setting and the fact I was already aware of the case. However, the news never reported how many twists and turns this bizarre case makes. Narrator Neil Strauss, a writer for Rolling Stone, was tasked with shedding light on the case when investigators were getting nowhere. Strauss’ own investigation takes place in real-time just as the case kicks into high-gear. This is one of the best true crime podcasts available!

Crime Junkie
There are tons of true crime podcasts available to listeners and most of them cover the same cases. What makes Crime Junkies stand out is how they make it a point to keep the banter to a minimum and focus mainly on the case at hand. Each episode is anywhere from 30-60 mins long so you won’t lose interest like with other bloated shows. The hosts Ashley & Brit are adorable and will remind any true crime aficionado of themselves.

Root of Evil
The Root of Evil podcast covers the story of the evil Dr. George Hodel. An investigation into the doctor’s life was started by his own son who believes he was a serial killer. The crazy part? The whole family believes he was responsible for one of the most notorious unsolved murders in American history… The Black Dhalia. TheRoot of Evil is hosted by Dr. Hodel’s great granddaughters and they are determined to solve the mystery of their family’s dark secret. They’ll do so all while revealing never before heard details. Buckle up, this is going to be a bumpy ride.
