Just announced today, Spider-Man for the PS4 will be released on September 7th, 2018.
Game developer Insomniac released new footage of the upcoming Spider-Man game for the PS4 exclusively to Game Informer today.
It’s been a while since we last saw anything new from the studio regarding the highly anticipated game that was first announced at 2016’s E3 Expo.
The Spider-Man game for the PS4 will reportedly be a standalone story that won’t have anything to do with any Spidey movie. It’s better off that way if you ask me.
The new footage shows more battle mechanics that are very similar to that of the Batman: Arkham Series. If you’ve ever played any of those, then it’s a welcome comparison!
This time around, they show us a lot more of how Spider-Man will move throughout the seemingly open-world. The fast paced fluid motions look amazing and the web-slinger adapts to his surroundings almost instantly.
Sadly, no release date has been set but we know it will be sometime in 2018. So keep up the patience and drool over the new footage!
