Bento, the Keyboard Cat passed away on March 8th, 2018. Although he was not the original Keyboard Cat, it is a well known FACT that he was a reincarnation of the Keyboard Cat of the 1980’s, Fatso.
Keyboard Cat inspired many celebrity pets such as Lil Bub, aka, Grump Cat and the very popular Doug the Pug.
Bento became a poster cat for shelter animals as his owner adopted him from one before he went on the internet stardom.
He was 9 years old. We will miss you Keyboard Cat. I hope you’re playing that huge piano in the sky.
